After missing Lorde by an hour (I left washington sq park just moments before they performed), I swore I'm never missing an artist's popup show again. Thats the beauty of NYC... we have these album release pop ups. It's my responsibility to take advantage. The FOMO was too real, so I had to grab Tyler's $10 tickets once they dropped. I can honestly say, I think under the K has been the hottest venue of the summer... talent: 10/10 🎵 vendors: 10/10 (theres always merch, drinks, food etc) crowd: also amazing porta potty situation: 😬 For the Tyler show specifically, I was surprised they hosted on the smaller stage. The crowd was huge, and it's pretty hard to see the stage from far back. But with Tyler coming down into the crowd to dance 🕺, there were points I was like 5 ft from him. I had to back up bc the crowd crush, but just my luck... he walked closer to the side of the stage I snuck off to. After having to miss the tour bc the price, this was an amazing opportunity. Take this as your sign to prioritize those pop-up shows.
