📍Joes Pizza, Fianancial District Manhattan I have heard many times that joes pizza is one of the best slices of pizza you can get in nyc and I of course had to test this out for myself. We went to the location in financial district which was pretty small but packed with people there was barely any room to move. I don’t recommend planning on eating inside unless it’s standing up since it’ll probably be difficult to find a place to sit since the spot is pretty small. This spot is very popular, on their wall you can see the pictures of different celebrities that have visited. We got a cheese pie which was 26$ and it was ready in 10-15 minutes. I liked how the pizza wasn’t that greasy like how other spots make their pizza but honestly it just tasted like a regular slice of pizza. I felt like you did taste the sauce a bit more which I liked but I don’t understand why the spot is so hyped tbh it wasn’t anything crazy different from a regular slice of pizza. I would give it a 8.5/10, but would still recommend trying it for the experience of trying one of the best rated slices in nyc. If I was ever near a joes location I could see myself getting a slice again it was pretty good but the hype over it is overrated. I need to try L’industrie and mamas too now to compare.
