📍 Buddakan , Manhattan This restaurant is genuinely the prettiest spot in nyc that I have been to so far!! The ambiance is just so stunning with the chandeliers, dark walls, and dim lighting. This spot has always been on my bucket list so I was super excited to go since asian fusion is my favorite cuisine. I was also so excited since the ambiance kind of reminded me of hogwarts from harrry potter which I loveee 🦉🤍 The staff were originally gonna seat us upstairs but I really wanted to be seated downstairs under the chandeliers and they were so kind to accommodate us! We started off with the dim sum tasting which was presented on this two tier wooden platter which was pretty cool. The platter consisted of different dumplings, spring rolls, and potstickers. The two person platter is 45$ while the three person is 65$. We got the two person which came with 6 pieces in total for each person which is a bit pricy but the food was decent. I honestly found the food in general pretty average it was nothing special. The dessert I got had a bunch of sugar cubes in it covering the brownie which i didn’t like but the pistachio icecream part of it was pretty good. I feel like the ambiance really makes up for the average food since it’s so gorgeous!! I would recommend coming here since it genuinely is the prettiest restaurant in nyc that I have been to so far, but if you are looking for amazing food then I’d say do your research on what dishes to get! I think this spot is perfect for a birthday or any celebration since it’s beautiful!! ✨
