📍 The Ancient Spanish Monastery 🎟️ $10/person for a self-guided walk through 🇪🇸 This was actually originally built in Segovia, Spain beginning in 1133 AD ⛵️ For those who don’t realize- that was almost 360 years BEFORE Columbus left Spain for America 📰 William Randolph Hearst bought the cloisters, took them apart & shipped them to the U.S. in over 11,000 wooden crates 😬 Time Magazine called this the “biggest jigsaw puzzle in history” as it took years to put all the pieces of the deconstruction back to what it is today 🌿 You can now stroll through, read some of the wild history & relax in the beautiful gardens- I basically had this entire place to myself which is absolutely wild to me 💫 Follow @LattesNLuggage for more unique South Florida recs!
