📍Dave’s Hot Chicken, Fresh Meadows Dave’s hot chicken opened their queens location in fresh meadows about two weeks ago and I was so excited to try it!! I see all the mukbangers eating this and it looks so good every single time so I was so happy they brought this spot to queens!! The line was out the door because there were so many people but it moved quickly. We were out of there in like 15-20 minutes and we went on a Friday night at 7pm. The way they decorated the interior was pretty cool with all the graffiti and artwork and there is a lot of seating inside. There are different spice levels you can choose for your sliders and tenders. I chose the medium and hot, the medium didn’t feel spicy at all but the hot actually was so spicy my tongue was burning. I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by the chicken in general. I felt that without sauce, pickles, or coleslaw the chicken itself didn’t have much flavor. Idk why I think because everyone made it out to taste so good I expected more. It tastes really good when you dunk the chicken in the daves sauce but I thought the chicken on its own without anything on it would taste better. The sandwich was pretty good I feel like since there isn’t a chick filla super close by to me this sandwich can act as a filler from time to time but I still like chick filla better. The size of the tender was massive but they are 7$ a piece. I see myself coming back here sometimes and would recommend trying this new location out if you are in queens! The staff are super sweet and helpful as well.
