i have been to 929 multiple times now and i will continue to go back. it’s hidden in the back of a small taiwanese restaurant (gulp) — which by the way, has fantastic food — through an unassuming door. the bar itself is cozy and is decorated to have the vibes of the 90s taiwan/hong kong pop music scene. reservations are almost always needed, especially on weekends, and they have a 90 minute time limit. pay this incredible spot a visit and even if you can’t snag a table or seat at the bar, get some takeout from gulp!!
