this was one of the coolest and most fun activities i've done in nyc! i've gone axe throwing before at a different location, but kick axe throwing has something called hyper axe throwing that allows you to use a tablet to choose different games that connect with the wooden boards. my partner and i played games like tic tac toe, alien invasion, bowling, catchphrase, etc. and it got pretty competitive. the price of $34 a person for 75 minutes is definitely worth it. if you order a fountain drink, you get unlimited refills too (i think it was like $3 for a cup). the people there were so nice and welcoming, and the environment was ironically relaxing for a place where axes were being thrown about. if you're considering axe throwing for your next date or friends activity, go to kick axe!
