📍 Little Havana AKA just follow the Rooster Walk bc they’re scattered all over downtown! 🐓 The fiberglass birds started popping up in 2002 as a way for Little Havana to celebrate the neighborhood’s culture 🦩 This lowkey came after Coral Gables started putting flamingo statues all over their neighborhood 💸 Each rooster costs about $2,750 👀 and Empowerment Zone (an agency that invests in low-income neighborhoods) donated money for 8 of them 🤯 There were more than 70 rooster statues to see down here at one point…as well as some actual roosters strutting around lol 💫 Follow @LattesNLuggage for more South Florida fun!
