📍Belvedere Castle , Central Park Central Park is huge and there are so many hidden gems in the park. I found this castle on tiktok and thought it was so cute and had to go!! The castle is on top of Vista Rock and is known to be the second highest viewing point in the park. It is also the castle that was used as gargamels hideout from the Smurfs. The walk there was so peaceful and beautiful ,we went when the cherry blossom trees were still filled with flowers during early April so that is the time I’d recommend going if you want to see the cherry blossom trees! The castle in person was a bit underwhelming I thought it’d be bigger but it was still cute to see and there are pretty views of the water and city skyline. There is a gift shop as well. Definitely check out this spot if you are ever near Central Park. The castle is open from 10-5 everyday. If you don’t know where in the park to enter just type the castle name into google maps it is close to 79th street.
