๐fall foliage viewing accessible by mta - the met cloisters
This is one of those trips that you're taking the train basically to the last stop. Hop on the A train babe you're heading to Inwood.
The Met Cloisters is high up in elevation, so just keep that in mind when it comes to footwear you're going to be doing a mini hike to get there. Tickets are same as The Met where it's pay-what-you-wish for nyc residents, $30 for adults! Pro tip: you can get free tix through your nyc library card, just ask your local librarian on how to get started ๐
The trek is well worth ittt. The museum showcases medieval art and beautiful gardens. You need to explore the whole site (it's not that big btw) to discover the different pockets of overlooks and terraces giving you the perfect view of the palisades and all along the hudson. If the door says push just do it you'd be surprised what kind of view is behind it. I went 9/20 where the leaves haven't changed colors yet but give it another month the view here will be INCREDIBLE. ๐๐
