My gf and I were bored on a random Wednesday night, and decided to spontaneously go somewhere. We found a table at bathtub gin, which had been on my to-go list for a while, and it was perfect coz they have live music on Monday and Wednesday nights! The night we went was a soul and r&b night, and it was not super crowded as it was a weeknight. They also have standing room if you don’t wanna pay extra for a table (they have an entertainment fee on nights with performances, $5 for standing room and $10 for a table). They also have complimentary coat check which was nice! The vibe was speakeasy, as the outside signage for it was a stone street coffee shop. They have specialty gin and tonics (duhh) and also a list of craft cocktails which all sounded amaaaazing. We got the greece and italy g&ts as seen in the photo, and later got the after dark coffee cocktail and the smores old fashioned. It’s also a really friendly and nice atmosphere, there was some famous greek singer in the audience the night we went and the band invited her to sing with them! In the photo, the singer is actually one of the staff working at the bar!! They were also taking song requests now and then which was cool until someone requested taylor swift… on a soul and r&b night… so that’s always a hit or miss, but overall really nice and warm vibes!!
