After seeing Yan’s Antique Jewelry all over TikTok, I finally decided to check it out during a trip to Chinatown, NYC. Let’s just say… TikTok might’ve overhyped this one. The store was packed. There was a long line just to get inside, and once you’re in, it’s pretty chaotic—tons of people, very little space to browse comfortably. Yes, the selection of vintage watches is massive. But here’s the thing: the well-known brands are seriously overpriced, and the more affordable options (under $100) are mostly random, unbranded pieces you could easily find online for way less. If you’re a true collector, maybe you’ll enjoy the hunt. But for the average shopper or casual vintage lover, it felt more like a trendy tourist trap than a hidden gem.
