Wow!! World’s Largest & tiniest Kaleidoscope for 5$!! 🪄
While waiting for our Railexplorer ride in Phoenicia, we randomly wandered into the Emerson Kaleidoscope—and it turned out to be one of the most fun and unexpected stops of the trip!
Inside, the sweetest lady showed us her handmade kaleidoscopes—filled with oil, glitter, and color. There were many varieties, were starting from 300$ but the beauty it creates shows the hard work she put in it! There were tiny simple ones too to get for kids- It instantly took me back to my childhood and those tiny fairs in India.
The highlight? Their $5 kaleidoscope show inside the world’s largest kaleidoscope! You lie back under a giant dome and watch a beautiful mix of visuals and calming narration.
What Not to Miss
• The pearl dish kaleidoscope
• Floating neon lights
• A giant prism mirror to see endless versions of yourself
• Their infinity mirror installation
• And yes, even the world’s smallest kaleidoscope!
Why It’s Worth a Stop
• Only $5 for the immersive show—totally worth it
• Hands-on, nostalgic, and artistic
• Great for all ages—kids or inner child included
It’s all part of the Emerson Resort & Spa, with a few boutique shops too.
If you’re anywhere near Phoenicia, definitely stop by—it’s a little dose of wonder tucked away in the Catskills.
Phoenicia itself is such a hidden gem of a village in the Catskills—more posts on that coming soon!
