Woah went to Martiny’s totally randomly, and did not realize it’s one of the world’s 50 best bars! Walked in after work based on a friend’s recommendation, they were fully booked but the hostess was super nice - we told her we’d wait if anyone cancelled and luck would have it, someone did! We got seated at the bar on the first floor. The building itself is so unique like a horse carriage in the middle of Gramercy. The inside was dark and cozy, lots of dates going on. I got the Plum Blossom Sour, and trust me one drink is enough. It’s lemony, refreshing with fresh plums, really innovative flavors. We did skip the food though wasn’t ready for a $50 sandwich, but lots of people got it around us so maybe it’s worth the try next time! If you didn’t have reservation, try walking in, be nice and be kind to the hostess, they just might let you in.
