I've been eyeing the new ThisBowl location near my workplace for lunch, so decided to give it a shot recently •ᴗ• It was WILDLY packed, but the order process was super fast and receiving my food took about five mins tops! I chose to build my own bowl (circled on menu hehe) and it came out to about $20 I got the salmon sashimi (+$4) and chili jam (wasn't circled in second pic as it was an impromptu decision, but $1 extra. worth, it's literally jam with chili oil, kind of like gochujang but sweeter??) Overall, the food felt like elevated poké with less sauce, but I really liked that they pre-tossed the ingredients before adding it to the bowl, as we know the struggle of having to poke at it with a fork ourselves :,) Overall, 8/10 for taste, but docking 2 points for the hefty price for a smaller portion size -- but if you are craving something fancier than cava or sweetgreen and with options for sashimi, this place is definitely going to be your hot spot in NYC!
