The concept of third spaces has becoming more and more popular in the city so I went out on a hunt to look for one myself - I had come across this cafe combo clothing store through conversation and decided to check it out! Manjul on the border of SoHo and Chinatown is a super cute coffee shop with a great ambience and lots of coffee, tea, and pastry options. There’s lots of seating inside and it is a pretty busy space but people are always going in and out so finding a seat is not difficult. I felt the space was really grounding because there’s a giant tree situated in the middle of the cafe and the lighting and movement just make it a super calming space for me! Though I wouldn’t shop for clothes here, I would definitely be back to do some work or just catch up with a friend ☕️
