Quimby's in Chicago is my favorite independent comic book store. I will stop by when I'm going to Wicker Park.Besides regular comics and graphic novels, it has a vast selection about various subcultures! They have many self-published comic zines, photo collections, and poetry collections. The selection of independent publications is the largest I've seen! Some are local Chicago authors' works, exclusive to this bookstore only!! The store also exhibits unique sculptures and toys and also sells their own merch. Many items can't be photographed, so it's best to visit and see for yourself.
