Frozen yogurt era is back!!I've been trying different frozen yogurts around the city, and Madison Fare on the Upper East Side is currently on top of my list! It's an absolute must-try!!
Madison Fare is a high-end food market located in the UES. It has been around for some time, and it gained popularity for its frozen yogurt and array of Swedish Candy. I've heard people talking outside that there's always a queue outside the shop every day from the time they open to close!
I visited on Saturday around 2 pm and there was a small line. You place your order and pay at the checkout, then head to the front to collect your order from the yogurt machine with the owner. This particular flavor has a Greek yogurt base and is garnished with Sicilian pistachio paste, authentic pistachio crumbs, and pistachio knafeh (shredded phyllo dough with pistachio paste - this is a nod to the viral Dubai pistachio knafeh). It's a perfect combo of crunchy, smooth, and nutty in one bite!
Apart from the pistachio knafeh, they also offer other toppings like raspberry and mango. They update the flavors and availability on their Instagram @madisonfarenyc

so give them a follow for latest updates! They also sell Swedish candy and international delicacies like Spanish olive oil, canned fish, French marmalade, British artisanal chocolate, and more! If I had an extra shopping bag, I would have purchased more than just the frozen yogurt! (Next time!)
There is a small table and bench outside if you want to enjoy it right away. You can head over to the nearby Central Park and savor the beautiful fall weather or go to the Met steps to recreate the Gossip Girl scene where they ate their fro-yo there!
