Attended a preview show for The Last Bimbo of the Apocalypse, a production filled with 00s nostalgia and modern chronically online references alike. While the pacing could have been better and the writing seemed to shoehorn in as much lingo as possible, the moments that made the crowd laugh out loud shined and the cast gave wonderful performances. Standouts for me were Natalie Walker and Milly Shapiro, but there were no real lowlights in this talented cast! The costumes immersed the audience in the juxtaposition of the modern internet era and the bold and raunchy style of the it girls of the tabloid era. The music and production were top notch as well. The best jokes were the most unexpected ones, and the overall experience was enjoyable 💅🏼
