After a five-year, $220 million renovation, The Frick Collection reopened its historic Fifth Avenue mansion on April 17, 2025. What’s New: • Expanded Galleries: The museum now boasts 30% more gallery space, including access to the second floor—formerly the Frick family’s private quarters! • Enhanced Lighting: A state-of-the-art lighting system and a restored skylight in the West Gallery illuminate masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Bellini.  • Visitor Amenities: New additions include a café overlooking the 70th Street Garden, a gift shop, and a 218-seat auditorium for lectures and performances. Admission & Free Entry: • Pay-What-You-Wish: Wednesdays from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.  • Free Admission: Visitors aged 10–18 and care partners accompanying visitors with disabilities.
