I am a very self-conscious dancer. I tried pole dancing at a few different places through ClassPass*, and Dance Queens Fitness is hands-down the best studio.
This is the only pole studio Iāve been to where I get my āØOWN POLEāØ. And you actually do pole work. One of the other places I tried had 18-20 people attending (poles obviously shared), and most of it was just prancing/catwalk.
I purchased a 10-class pack during Black Friday/Cyber Monday (as my belated birthday gift š). I only go about 1x/wk because I get SORE afterwards. I usually take 2 classes back-to-back when I go.
They say to take 3 foundations classes before taking any others. I took foundations 4 times. Today, I took Exotic Pole Choreography after the 4th foundation class. I was a little scared in the beginning that I wouldnāt be able to keep up, but I did alright! Not enough to upload videos YET, but Iām proud of my improvement!
Mary, the owner, is so sweet. Iāve only taken classes at the studio with her so far. But Iām sure Iāll meet other instructors now that Iāve finished foundations.
_______
Other locations Iāve tried through ClassPass:
āŖļøPoleArity Palace: I shared a pole with someone, but I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the venue is permanently closed.
āŖļøSweet N Sultry: I can give a whole spiel, but long story short: SKIP.
