📍 tan , 209E 49th st This Mexican restaurant was the most beautiful spot I’ve been to! It is literally decorated to give the vibe of Tulum with their color scheme, draperies,plants, and ambiance. It was absolutely gorgeous. I got the shrimp and crab enchilada and it was a good size and super delicious. I find that a lot of gorgeous nyc restaurants serve average food, but the food here was amazing!! If you love luxury beautiful atmospheres or have a birthday coming up you definitely have to check this spot out. There are two floors and both have bars and seating. We went on a Sunday and the top floor was booked and a table cleared after an hour, but the bottom floor was beautiful as well and had seating available. They also have a patio with outdoor seating but I suggest reserving the top floor since it’s so stunning. If you want to experience tulum in nyc definitely come here.
