I’ve been wanting to try a classic Chicago steakhouse, so I finally checked out Swift & Sons in West Loop—and wow, it did not disappoint. The moment I walked in, I fell in love with the atmosphere—it’s absolutely stunning and gives off major old-money vibes. My friend and I started the night with drinks, and I went for a dirty martini (which was chef’s kiss). For dinner, I, of course, had to get a steak, along with their mac and cheese, which rotates every few months. Both were incredible, and my steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The service was outstanding, but the coolest part? They have a magician who performs tableside magic upon request! My friend and I were absolutely blown away—we had no idea how he pulled off those tricks. If you’re in Chicago, this spot is a must-visit!
