The first bar I went to after moving to the city was The Woo Woo and it definitely meant I started out with a bang! You enter through room designed to look like an “Adult Video Store” where you push the bookshelf back to reveal a totally retro room filled with tables, a bar, and a photobooth. To start your visit, you first need to pull up their website and locate the password of the day. I’ll let you figure out where on the site for yourself as the site is cool to click around and it lets you keep a bit of the mystery. The code is constantly changing-one of the waiters even had me and my friend help with the next day’s code once-so make sure to check every time you visit! There’s a sign out front above a doorbell, once you ring the doorbell and give the password, you’re let in to the building. Then, you walk down a flight of stairs to the adult video store and then into the bar itself. The atmosphere has been amazing every time I’ve been and the voices in the background of the last clip are actually two wonderful women that my friend and I met at the bar. They were lovely people and they decided that we were exactly like them 30 years ago haha. I haven’t had a bad conversation here yet and the bar staff has always been lovely! The drinks are on the pricier side for sure but they have adorable theming and they taste delicious! (I wish I had a video of it but once I got a drink and they toasted the marshmallow on top once they brought it to the table). The shot we took in the video came with a line of pixie dust (the sugar candy) that you’re supposed to eat before you take the shot. It was a super silly way to take a shot but it was also super fun. If you’re looking for a fun night out, The Woo Woo is a great place to spend it!
