This was my 2nd flower dedicated visited to Burnside farms! About an hour drive from DC in Knokesville Virginia I got to spend a cute wholesome morning picking sunflowers. I believe each ticket was about $20 a head! While you can still be in the sun they give you free sunflower umbrellas to take a break from the heat. I also happened to lose my camera bag during this visit and they were able to find it for me and I was able to safely pick it up the same day - so big shout out to the staff! Be sure to check out their tulips in the spring as well! I would say you don’t need to get more sunflowers than come with the ticket, it comes with 3 and you can pick absolute HUGE ones. We did splurge a bit so I made my cute little arrangement at the end.
