I love this place and will probably make several posts about it! This special guitar-shaped Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL isn’t far from Fort Lauderdale. It has an adjacent casino on the same building/premise/campus, and there are also sweet amenities like a swimming pool and spa. Not to mention the nightclub, shops, and restaurants. As you can see from the hotel room photo, the room is fairly spacious and comfortable as long as you’re not afraid of heights. The pool is nice. I love how you have a towering view of the guitar-shaped hotel from the pool. I didn’t get a cabana because I don’t have THAT much money haha. I can’t imagine a cabana being worth it unless you want a smidge more privacy (like maybe for a bachelorette party?) or if you get freaked out by all the birds. There were a lot of birds lacking in personal space, frankly. This particular overnight stay was booked via Unity points or something (idk, don’t quote me 😅) earned at the adjacent casino. It couldn’t be redeemed on a weekend, though. It felt good to not spend money on the stay here. I recommend this hotel experience to a lot of people, but not everyone. I don’t recommend it for families with young children. If you don’t mind crowds, the best time (and probably most expensive time) to stay here is Spring Break season or the F1 Miami season because there’s a lot of events and celebrities like famous DJs and performers. If you’re looking to gamble at the tables, though, avoid these time periods.
