Just in time for cherry blossom season which is already beginning to bloom on Roosevelt Island, you can turn it into a half day adventure by visiting The Graduate Hotel right next to the tram. At the top of the hotel lies the Panorama Room which offers sweeping views of both Queens and Manhattan. I recommend making a reservation via Resy as it surprisingly gets busy, but the drinks are expensive and honestly, weak. You can however walk right into the bar and check out the outdoor observation deck for photos without the need of a reservation or purchase.
