Slice of tokyo in NYC
If you’re a fan of Japanese culture, Japan Village in Brooklyn is a must-visit. I absolutely loved this place—it’s packed with food, anime, cosplay, gacha machines, and more. It really feels like a slice of Tokyo in NYC!
The first floor is all about food. There’s a market with Japanese snacks, desserts, groceries, and a food court offering ramen, sushi, rice bowls, and more.
Upstairs, you’ll find a Japanese lifestyle market with beauty products, incense, anime figurines, games, and gacha machines. I bought a bunch of tiny figurines as souvenirs for friends. Book off has all the collectibles you can imagine at cheap prices! Skip the claw machines tho, they’re obv rigged.
Pro tips:
• Bring money—you’ll want to shop and eat everything.
• Go hungry.
• Plan to spend a few hours!
