Rooftop bar on Las Olas
Yeah so tbh I didn’t have anything here at Rooftop @1WLO ‘cause I walked in without a reservation and their minimum required spend for me was gonna be $50 per person and I wasn’t feeling it.
$50 per person minimum = a price I would’ve paid IF 1) it was Miami, 2) getting to here hadn’t felt mildly weird, 3) I had realized they had two mocktails, or 4) they had a 4.5+ star rating on Yelp.
IMO a $35 minimum spend feels much more reasonable for Fort Lauderdale, and that’s what the pre-paid minimum spend is when you reserve a table online.
Food portions online looked very small for what you’re pay for. They looked pretty tasty, and I liked that they had a dozen-ish food options.
The place looked nice, but I don’t think I would come here again unless I am celebrating a friend’s birthday and the group is hungry. I hope the group will have a better time than the people in my photos here haha.
Also, my garage parking was $20 for 2 hours, so, again, why would I not go to Miami next time? 🤷♀️
I feel like finding delicious food in downtown Fort Lauderdale is tricky, but can be achieved. I’m going to keep trying. Follow along with me as I find a rooftop bar I love. @South Florida Guide
