Review: Invisible Worlds at AMNH
When family visits over Thanksgiving we try to plan one New York City outing with everyone. This year we checked out the new Gilder Center at the American Museum of Natural History and opted to go into the Invisible Worlds special exhibit.
The coolest part was the immersive room near the end that plays various clips on a 12 minute loop. Children loved it since a puddle of light came on with every step. As an adult, it felt crowded with all the running children.
The exhibits before the immersive room were fairly simple for an adult as well. Overall I spent 20 minutes in this special exhibit, which for the $6 upgrade wasn’t a huge cost given the AMNH is free for NY residents.
