If you want a quick escape from the hustle and bustle, take a trip to Cold Spring, an hour train ride from Grand Central terminal. One way trip is $15 and two way is $30. It’s a place with spectacular views and great spot for hiking. There were two trails, we hiked on Little stony point which is an easier one and led to some spectacular views and river. The only problem I had was finding a good spot to eat, I’d recommend bringing food from the city as there aren’t a lot of options and is on the pricier side. Me and my friend got some Chinese food but it wasn’t that good.
