Something major that made it out of the group chat with my besties this year - having an organized book club! My best friend is the organizer and our book club, which has been successfully running since September 2024, has been a hit. Here’s a few tips that I believe have made it so successful: 1. Keep a tight crew - we have about 12 girls and everyone meshes so well together, it keeps organizing meet ups easier to have a smaller group! 2. Meet every other month or so when everyone has finished the book - I feel like this makes the meetings flow so well compared to splitting it up chapter by chapter; etc 3. Have some themed activities or games - this allows everyone to participate in the meet ups and mingle, even if they didn’t finish the book of the month 4. Keep a voting system - we do this for both our book choices and meet up dates and it makes everything go really smoothly 5. Snackalacks - have some snacks and drinks to graze on to keep the conversation flowing!
