I have been going to Elahni (“Inhale” spelled backwards) for a while. I truly love the ambience, the experience, and how it has helped me reset and recover after a stressful week or day, physically and mentally.
At Elahni, you will be doing three cycles of alternating hot and cold or “contrast therapy”. Each session is capped for 4 people, meaning you will be thoroughly guided as you enter the sauna and the cold plunge. The sauna is roughly 15 minutes, and the cold plunge ranges from 1-3 mins. Nick & Keane, the cofounders of Elahni, will adjust the goal based on your experience and will give you breathing guidance and technique as you navigate the experience.
During the session, you will get electrolytes when you’re in the sauna to keep yourself hydrated. After 3 cycles, you can order a drink from the mocktails menu from the adaptogen tonic bar (charged separately, not included in the contrast therapy price). In addition to drinks, there are collection of books on wellness and wellbeing, along with Hyperice massage gun. Nick is super knowledgeable and everytime I go here I learn something new about the body. I always have the best sleep after the session.
Highly recommend to go here with your friends (or even alone!) to chill and reset. Since only 4 people are allowed for each session, it makes the experience very personalized and guided.
