Naked Comedy Show A Night Full of Laughter
The show began with a mysterious invitation that revealed the venue a few hours in advance. Fortunately, we were informed that it was in Bushwick, and the undisclosed location was conveniently close to the subway station. Doors opened 30 minutes before, and already, a few people were lined up.
The check-in process was smooth and discreet as we entered the brownstone and presented our names to gain access to this secretive club. The hostess informed us that clothing was optional in the first two rows. Curious about what to expect, I chose to sit in the rows towards the back.
Upon entering, we discovered a bar stocked with mixers and ice, allowing us to bring our own beverages. The host was very welcoming and friendly, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a phone-free and respectful atmosphere during the show. The audience was exceptionally polite and quick to laugh. The jokes were less risqué than those typically found at the Comedy Cellar, providing a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.
During intermission, the host sought brave volunteers to disrobe on stage and share their own jokes. The winner was rewarded with free tickets to another show. The comedians showcased their unique styles and abilities to rouse the audience with their humor.
If you’re seeking a casual and relaxed evening filled with laughter, this show is an excellent choice. However, it’s essential to consider that nudity (not for those underaged) or those easily offended or about being PC. A respectable friendly environment are required.
Thanks S’more for giving me a chance to experience something completely new and out of my comfort zone (apparently the show location is also known for orgies). I believe tickets are usually $40-45
Disclaimer: I have only ever attended one other comedy show, so my sample size is quite small.
