The joy of finding a new bookstore is unparalleled. Possibly rivaled by discovering a new restaurant. Myopic Books in Wicker Park is a gently used bookstore with an eclectic appeal. I went on a Saturday afternoon and while it was a bit busy, it wasn’t cramped. One of my favorite books, “All About Love” was in the front of the store & I highly recommend it! The shelves are stacked with History, Film, Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Romance & many more genres. There’s a sign posted towards the middle of the store which tells you which genres are where! I checked out the basement level which has Horror/Thriller & True Crime books. I picked up “The Call”, which I’m excited to read! The shelves are packed, but most of them are organized by author.
