✍️ Quimby’s in Chicago is currently my favorite independent comic book store. Every time I visit Wicker Park, I always make sure to stop by and browse. It's been dubbed as "Chicago's quirkiest bookstore" by the media. ✍️ Apart from the usual comics and graphic novels, their selection includes many subculture topics, such as drugs. ✍️ Many self-published comic zines, anthologies, and poetry collections are consigned here. Their selection of independent publications is the largest I've seen, spanning four to five walls, with a section dedicated to locally authored publications from Chicago that are hard to find elsewhere. ✍️ The store also showcases bizarre sculptures and toys, available for purchase.
