I've been visiting this tea shop so often lately that I feel like a "frequent flyer"! I've been meaning to share my experience but kept putting it off out of laziness 😂. At this place, you can either order individual drinks or go for a tea session. A session costs $14, and for an extra $13 you get a small plate of tea snacks. For another $7, you can switch to a different type of tea. They have a good variety, including black, green, white, and oolong teas. This time, I ordered the matcha with a mango mousse cake—the tart sweetness of the mousse perfectly balanced the slight bitterness of the matcha. On weekdays, the shop is pretty quiet. You can order a pot of tea and spend the whole day there if you like. The staff are attentive and will refill your pot without you even needing to ask. It's a great alternative to studying or working in a coffee shop if you're in the Wicker Park neighborhood.
