✨Just my luck, my ‘Make-a-Wish’ wish came true (almost). Saturday Night Live turns 50 this year and they’re celebrating with making 🫵 YOU 🫵 the host. 🎥The SNL Experience is a replica of the famed Studio 8H with its sketch sets and behind-the-scenes walk-throughs that immersed you in the chaos that is producing Saturday Night Live. You’ll get to reenact beloved sketches like ‘Wayne’s World and ‘Dick in a Box’ and present the news on (my personal favorite) Weekend Update. This brisk fast paced walking tour ends in the Five Timers Club where you’ll get to enjoy a victory donut and a glass of champagne. 📺In addition to photos and video clips, guests got to take home a branded tote, pin, and water bottle…all for 🆓! This activation was well executed with ornately dressed sets. The nice touch was a full staff of people in-character as production managers, assistants, and crew (which felt really nice because I’ve been used to being on real sets with more aggravated crew members 😅). This experience was this weekend only but be on the lookout for their upcoming 50th anniversary events: 🎙️ Friday, February 14 SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, a live, three-hour concert special on Peacock. Featuring an incredible lineup of musicians including Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, Jack White, Bad Bunny, and The Roots. 🎂 Sunday, February 16 SNL50, the Anniversary Special: “Live from New York, it's one night 50 years in the making. Celebrate the incredible 50th anniversary of the award-winning, record-breaking, history-making series with legendary stars, live musical performances and iconic sketches during an unmissable 3-hour primetime event.”
