Lilo & Stitch: remade, not replaced
Went into the new Lilo & Stitch movie with some hesitation. The original set the bar — it wasn’t just nostalgic, it worked, and anything less would feel off. But this remake actually holds up. Stitch feels like he belongs, not weird or out of place, which was a big relief.
It’s got a slightly more grown-up feel — more emotion, more real moments — but that adds something instead of taking away. Sure, there are some imperfections, but they don’t ruin it. If you were worried like I was, give it a shot. It brings back the comfort, humor, and heart that made Lilo & Stitch so special in the first place.
