Often when I’ve found myself looking for a place to go in Midtown I’ve tried going to the Bopeep Cocktail and Highball store located below the Ragtrader. But, probably no thanks to tiktok, they are always full. For once I remembered to make a reservation a week ahead of time and was able to go after a broadway show! Their regular pianist is Skip Brevist and they have a rotating cast of vocalists that also act as your servers. Skip often calls up the best fitting vocalist for the song he’s playing and the whole thing is full of talent and entertainment. They have a huge drink list and you can also order food. I highly recommend their tuna tartare if you’re hungry and the Rosebud to drink. Worst case if you don’t get in, Ragtrader and Parlour Room are nearby and also great “normal” bars.
