I had so much fun at the macaron making class with NY Cake through the Tried and True program. I love baking but have never made macarons because they always seemed too technical. Our instructor was super patient and showed us each step before we tried it out on our own. I included photos of the instructor’s piping and final product because they turned out much better than my own. We made the batter, piped the macarons, decorated with sprinkles (optional) and picked our own fillings. They provide all the supplies and we went home with 12 macarons!!! The class is $100/person and they also offer 20% off baking supplies at the store the day of, and 20% off your next class. There was a family in the class celebrating a birthday and a couple for date night. It seemed perfect for both occasions. Can’t wait to try other NY Cake baking or cooking classes!
