As a big K-pop fan who loves to dance, attending K-pop dance cover classes is always my go-to activity. NYC has a few studio options, BUT most of them are SO CROWDED (not exaggerating—there’s a class with 50 people and only one instructor; I literally couldn’t see anything...😮‍💨 This is why I love K-Pulse NYC! The class size is always around 9–15 people, creating a much more intimate, community vibe. They may not have the most fancy setup or classrooms, but for me, it’s all about actually enjoying the class and meeting others who share my love for K-pop and dancing. (And yes, I’ve made friends in both of the classes I’ve attended!!!) One of my favorite things they do is their monthly “song suggestion” feature on Instagram (@kpulse.nyc). You can comment on the song you’d like them to teach, and they SLAY with their selections! For December, they’re doing 9 songs, and I already know which one I’ll join kekeke. 💰 Classes are $28 each, and they typically use 3–4 sessions to teach an entire song. They’ve got a water dispenser, restroom, Wi-Fi, and staff who keep an eye on your personal belongings. If you’re planning to attend more often, their class packages are worth considering.
