Axe Throwing | $34 pp + taxes&fees It was a super fun time out for a birthday. We used code AXE10 for 10% off, so it came around to ~35$. (Basically the code paid for taxes and fees). All reservations are for 75 Minutes in a Public Range, although with 4 people they just gave us our own range. They had plenty of other games besides axe throwing (ie beer pong, jenga, battleship, cards against humanity) we played while waiting ~10 mins for our lane. *You can go to this bar and play all their games without signing up for axe throwing!! The axe games had fun points systems: 1st) first team to 40 pts wins 2) first team to EXACTLY 21 pts, if you go over you get penalized 3) “around the world” get each point twice Advice: -go with an even number of people. 4 felt perfect! They might not give you a private range with 2 people- but I’d call to ask. -if you’re going in a group, do check in >24 hours with everyone that they are still down to go more. You will not be getting refunds if it’s less than 24 hours before reservation. Even if one person can’t make it Cons: -you pay the same amount of money per person regardless of group size (ie 4 or 6) within the same time slot. If you go with more ppl seems like you’re getting less bang for your buck. But if you go with 8+ I think you have to book a private range -We originally booked for 5 ppl but 1 person had to drop out last minute. Since it was less than 24 hours, they did not give us the money back. It’s written in the agreement when you’re checking out but it’s still felt a cash-grab thing if it’s just a small modification -we called them ahead of time but since we couldn’t get our money back they said they’d make it up by giving us “drink on the house” since it was for a bday. We show up and tell the front desk, and they had no idea what we were talking about lol still confused about this interaction
