Okay this is a must do ! Pier 24-26 is all of Hudson River park and there is so much to do and almost all of it is free ! ☀️ first right on pier 26 at the down town boathouse is free kayaking ! You can go out for about 20-25 mins and they give you all you need , locker included ! Good for all ages ( legit saw a 2 year old in their mother’s lap ) such a great time ! ☀️next check out the park that is located on pier 25 it’s honestly so kool even for adults ! The park is shaped like a giant fish and you can climb inside and all along it with ropes, slides and net crawls ☀️lastly just cause I’m a history nerd , the lilac is a retired tug boat turned museum and it is free to enter and look through Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4 pm Such a kool look at an area of history I don’t know much about! We explored the engine room and the brig as well as the kitchen and captains quarters. There was even a working typewriter that we got to play with!
