I’ve always thought I was funny. I really have and I’m not afraid to say it. So when I went to LA I had to visit the holy land for all comedians. The Comedy Store. The people who have walked those halls and performed in those rooms are some of my biggest hero’s to this date. The alumni list is insane from Stephen Colbert to Martin Short to Eddie Murphy and so many more. The first time I went I had fucking Bobby Lee AND Sebastian Maniscalco practicing some new bits. It was actually the coolest thing ever. Hack: hang out back where the smoke session is, lots of the comedians hang out there which is just sick and made me feel so cool. It was there a group of guys thought I was so funny they assumed I was one of the performers. Anyway even if you’re not a cult fan follower like me, I highly recommend this spot when in LA.
