This is truly a hidden gem especially if you’re trying to get off the busy streets of SoHo! Atelier Jolie is actually owned by the famous actress Angelina Jolie and was previously the art studio owned by both Warhol and Basquiat. It is now used as an arts and cultural hub for artists and designers and they run classes and workshops here too. The front part of the Atelier houses a cute little gallery (free!) and when you get to the back there’s a gorgeous little cafe with skylight ceiling and plush seating, serving Turkish coffee and middle eastern treats and desserts. I had the rose latte and it was delicious! Overall, the vibes were great and the space is inviting for you to get some work done or just chill with friends + free wifi. There’s also lots of books and magazines for you to read if you wanna have a solo date. Enjoy!
