Furniture & Vintage Thrifting in LIC
Getting more and more disappointed in thrifting stores in NYC to the point where I stopped for a while. Insane prices for silly knickknack or just second hand clothes.
Remix Market in LIC was a good visit though. Enough actually vintage artifacts to look through, saw a postal scale from 1940s, and lots of cute tea pots sets. They also have a large selection of just second hand furnitures, some are quite cheap like a $15 side table. Saw some brands like west elm, and heard someone found a Herman Miller desk chair. Even though I didn’t buy anything, it was fun to browse through.
The best part about thrifting and vintage hunting is seeing and learning about the history of different things, this was a fun one!
They also give away some free pieces of furniture and books.
