Free Kayaking at Pier 96
I was walking in Hudson River Park and saw the sign for free kayaking at Pier 96 Boathouse! It’s first come first serve, wear clothes that you are okay with getting wet.
Saturday and Sunday
May 24 – October 12
1PM – 6PM
Monday and Tuesday
June 2 – August 26
5:30PM – 7:30PM
Sharing some sunset views! The park itself had a lot of nice green spaces and seating, and wasn’t as busy as the lower part of the west side highway

Participants must be at least 18 years old and know how to swim.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and minors over 50 pounds must know how to swim.
An adult must be present with minors at all times, and children may not be left on the pier unsupervised.
Paddlers under the age of 16 must share a kayak with an adult.
