Perfect for your next date night! On Fridays, the Whitney is open to all for free as long as you RSVP in advance through their website. I scheduled two weeks in advance and that was enough time. The Whitney is open from 5 - 10pm. My reservation was at 7pm and that was more than enough time to explore the 8 floors. Currently they are holding their Biennial: Even Better than the Real Thing! The exhibit acknowledges AI and its complicating our understanding of what is real and the rhetoric around gender and authenticity (politically and legally). The exhibit runs from Mar 20 - Aug 11th. This is the longest running survey of American Art and has been a hallmark of the museum since 1932. Each floor has different instillations, paintings, videos and interactive pieces. TIP: Go near sunset so you can see the installations while the sun sets across the water.
