I found out about this new app Tabler on TikTok and decided to try it out. You create an account and can find events near you that promoters are trying to fill seats for. It’s really only convenient if you live in a major city like New York or Miami, even near the Jersey Shore there really isn’t many events posted on the app. So depending on your location may be a great idea for you to try out with some friends. I usually can’t afford places like this on my own so getting to experience the restaurant and club completely for free was amazing. Once you sign up for an event, a promoter will reach out to you with more information. I showed up and ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our table. I went alone, hoping to make some new friends in the city. Everyone did show up with other friends or in a couple, so it was definitely a bit hard to make connections at first. Once we sat and the food began to arrive, I was pretty focused on the meal and not the people. It is usually a pre-set menu with pre-set drinks, so make sure you’re flexible with the different restaurants menus. Everything including the dessert was absolutely amazing. After dinner was finished, we walked over to the club where we had a reserved table with bottles and juice set aside. The only money I spent the whole night was on the Uber home. Walking into the club, I ended up talking with a group of girls that was at the table. We ended up chatting and dancing, so I was glad the social awkwardness had dissipated. I was hoping this would be a great experience to make new friends in the city, but it seem like it’s really only a good opportunity for free food and drinks. Let me be clear, I’m not complaining!
